NCAA INVESTIGATING SAKERLINA

Sakerlina football has garnered (& blacked?) a lot of headlines lately, but not the kind Steve Spurrier wants. First there was the issue of TE Weslye (yes, Weslye) Saunders being involved in the whole Agent-gate scenario with having attended the infamous South Beach party. Then, Saunders and other players were found to have been staying at the Whitney Hotel in Columbia at absurdly discounted rates. When they were called on it Spurrier and his coaches took the understandable stance of hoping that, by promising the players would pay back the difference in their paid rates at the hotel and the published lowest rate, the issue would wash away. Now the Sakerlina Athletic Department has announced that the NCAA has sent them a letter of inquiry and will be investigating some of the shitty happenings with the Willy Brice crew.

ESPN Article.

In honor of this, I think I’ll go the Esso and order a USC under Investigation sandwich.
