2010 BLOGPOLL WEEK TWO

You know the drill. One caveat to this list, I did it in about 5 minutes, I’ve got a lot of shit to do right now, so keep your anger stifled, let me know what’s wrong, and I’ll change it.

Remove South Carolina, replace with North Carolina. Playing with a cripplied dick and still getting LSU pregnate with the idea of firing their coach because he can’t beat timmy the parapalegic in a foot race should at least mean they get one more week in the poll. And plus South Carolina beat Southern Miss, which no matter how much they won by, or how they did it, they should have won that game. You don’t reward a team for winning a game they should win, thats like me not believing a rumor I heard on Tnet and wanting a handjob for it. (Would still like the handjob though)

Fully, 100%, “All Fucking In,” “Tiger Nation,” “National Tigers” support APARKER on this one! Well said. Go Tigers!!!

Still think FSU is too high, but if they win this weekend it won’t matter anyways.

    I also agree with AParker.

  5. 5trueNo Gravatar on Sep 8, 2010 at 11:54 am:

I agree that FSU is too high. Based on their past 6 years of mediocrity, they should be required to post approximately 8 years of winning 10 or more games to be ranked among the top 10. At least, that’s about how long it took Boise State to get there.

I still have no respect for BS/U. They need to play a real schedule to break the top 7 for me. Playing one real game a year doesn’t count when Duke could go 10-2 with your schedule. Drop Sakerlina. They get as much credit for beating SMU as Clemson gets for beating PC, which is none in my book.

@1 So you’re saying you never reward a team for winning games they should win, yet you can reward a team for coming really close. ARE YOU TOMMY BOWDEN?

  8. 8trueNo Gravatar on Sep 8, 2010 at 1:17 pm:

@6 – at this point (one week into the season), BSU’s victory over the #6 team on the road (that was no neutral cite) qualifies as the most difficult schedule thus far. But I agree with you that until they are able to hang clean Canada all they deserve is a Cleveland Steamer. And besides, all the other teams in the top seven were really awesome in the 60s – that’s gotta count for something, right?

I dont think LSU should move up any after that pitiful performance that put up on Saturday night. Sure they won so its hard to move them down but I dont think they did anything to move up.

Boise State is, at best, #7-10. At the rate they’re going, they need to wait another 4 or 5 years before they’ve played as many BCS teams THIS DECADE as anyone else in the top 10 will play in one SEASON. A number 3 team doesn’t let the number 10 team come back from a deficit like that.

LSU should have at least held where they were after that dogshit performance this weekend. UNC should have stayed in the top 25, or at least their second string should have. First stringers fall for being too stupid to write their own term papers or at least not being smart enough to get away with it.

Boise State should stay at 3 for now. Yeah they don’t play any other great teams but if you look at their talent, coaching, and win over a good school on the road (kinda) and compare it to other school’s talent, coaching, and wins over the local community colleges they deserve to be ranked 3rd.

Definitely move down FSU, maybe switch them with Miami.

LSU could easily finish 5th in their division this year, not sure what that means for this week

Why is Notre Dame #1? I don’t understand… They won on Saturday. Clearly they’re “back” and in a big way!!!!

  14. 14MogritsNo Gravatar on Sep 8, 2010 at 11:12 pm:

I think FSU and Boise are ranked too high. Add Miami to that short list.

No- I’m not clamoring for our Tigers to make the list just yet but we should be lurking just outside. S. Carolina is probably too high right now, too, but I say leave ‘em ranked right there… we’ve all seen their spectacular downfalls before and the higher they climb in the polls and more especially the minds of their fans the harder they will fall. Spurrier’s gas tank is empty.

With this release of the Dabo Meter, people are happy with him. They still think Tommy West is no better than a sandwich

  16. 16DanielNo Gravatar on Sep 9, 2010 at 7:04 pm:

Just take So Car out, who cares if they won…it’s our damn poll anyway, rank Clemson in their place out of sheer spite and homerism.
