Clemson is hosting a number of football recruits this weekend and just picked up a big commitment from four-star defensive lineman Tavaris Barnes out of Jacksonville, Florida’s First Coast HS. Barnes had previously given a verbal commitment to FSU.
Demontez Stitt scored in double digits for the 5th straight game and led the Tigers to a 72-56 victory against Boston College on Sunday. The Tigers got a nice little bump up in the polls and moved back into the AP at #24 and up two spots in the coaches’ to #19.
The Tigers take on #12 ranked UNC on Wednesday night at Littlejohn. The last time the Tigers upended the Heels they were also ranked 12th. The game will tip at 9PM and be televised on ESPN. We’ve got an open thread going on here. GET IN EARLY.

It’s only a matter of time before Tomahawk Nation starts crying foul.

Well you are a bunch of cheating whores when it comes to recruiting, or something. Yeah, that’s right. Something like that.

FSU fans are probably happy to give away a recruit with the upswing they’ve had in recruiting lately.

Don’t believe it until the name’s on the dotted line on signing day. Free Shoes University,(or is it Free Suv University now?) has plenty of time to sway his decision with the right Escalade sittin’ on 26s yo.

Kiffin, what a joke, I am so glad we did not bring him in. He would have set us back at least 2 years. To bad for the players that enrolled early, they are stuck at UT

@6 Seriously. I thought the same thing when I saw that. Dabo was a much better hire than Kiffin. I’m glad we didn’t fall into that mess like UT. Some people talk about how we could’ve done better than Dabo, but stuff like this shows you we also could’ve done a whole lot worse.
