If we win the ACC and the Orange Bowl that's a ton of positive momentum going into the offseason. However, if we go 8-6 that's a lot of negative to end the year on, too. Our offensive line will return everyone but Austin, and they have steadily improved as the year has gone on. Ellington has looked very good this year in relief of Spiller but Harper needs to improve. Receiver is a huge question mark but Bryce McNeal may have an impact there. Our defense should be stout again, especially if McDaniel stays. When you look around the conference though who in our division should keep us out of winning the Atlantic next season? Is there any reason to believe FSU, NC State, BC, Wake, etc. will significantly improve? I don't think we should expect to be back to the Danny Ford, mid-to-late 80s level of success (which we didn't have prior to him and haven't had since) overnight, but we should expect a trip to the ACC championship most years just as Florida, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, etc. do in the SEC.
