IM A MAN IM FORTY on Dabo Swinney sent out a letter to the students promoting the interlocking arms thing that has had the attention of the invalid portion of our fan base on several message boards as of late. Good. Now that we’ve found our self-important niche for the nationally televised game, can we find something else to talk about besides a “something-out” ???
Clemson Students,
As you know, it’s our tradition to lock arms when we approach the Rock before every game. It’s our sign of unity as a team, representing Clemson University as we run down our Hill. It’s no secret that this weekend is a pivotal game as we host the Florida State Seminoles. We want our students to join us by locking arms as we approach the Rock! We want the atmosphere in Death Valley to live up to its name this Saturday night so please join us in this effort! I’m a big fan of it just becuz Dabo said so! But I hope our Frat brotheren decide to at least wear Orange for this game instead of dressing like it’s Easter Sunday…

I’d actually like to see us wear all purple unis for this game. I know its the orange out, but just keep getting reminders of that GT game back with Gameday. Oh well, on too something more interesting

@3 I may be in a fraternity but you’ll never find me at a game not wearing something orange (or at least purple)
I know a lot of the guys think its a chance to break out the pink and green pastels but there are a few of us true fans amongst the fraternity ranks

This makes me really glad I’m not a student anymore, because I would be hesitant to lock arms. The only benefit of locking arms with the person beside me is that it provides a balance point to counteract my inebriation.
I’ll try to enjoy the view as half the student body takes part in this and the other half awkwardly stands still.

@5 At least one of you has some common sense! I asked one pledge who was wearing a white shirt, blue and red striped tie and blue pants, i asked if he was going to an Ole Miss game…He was so confused.
@4 You must’ve forgotten that we got drug by V-Tech in all purple in 07….I think it’s time to retire them for awhile until we get a lil more steam.

I would suggest practicing this manuever before we get “all in” on National TV. I would practice interlocking arms with every biggest breastes womenz you can find during the tailgate. Elbow tit can be some good stuff.
However, do not actually lock-up during the pre-game. That is faggy.
