If this happened two or three years ago, it would have been devastating to the program. But as OP has really added his touch to this team (as well as a ton of talent) Ogelsby's faults have become all too apparent. He takes bad shots with too much time left on the clock that leads to easy transition buckets for the other team. He refuses to work the ball inside-out even though we have a pretty good inside game against most other teams. He doesn't move without the ball. He pouts. Have you been to Littlejohn this year? It never shows up on TV, but look at him during timeouts, especially if he's a little off. He's the only guy outside the huddle.

I love his scoring and he has certainly kept us in or brought us back in many many games. He has also lost a lot of games due to terrible decisions. I really hope it works out for him in Europe, I do, but I also think that the Tigers are better off now.

my guess is that his decision to leave was a combination of a pretty decent offer from some european teams, and him finding out that he would get less playing time for clemson next season, as smith can only get better and milton jennings has a pretty decent 3-ball

best of luck to him though

"Then of course there’s that time he LEFT THE FUCKING TEAM"

lol, guess i can't argue with that. I'm not going to hate on him though, he made a good choice. He was never going to succeed in the ACC with everyone face guarding him and playing in a pressure defense. This move will help him develop into the kind of player he will be in the pros. A pure shooter who can pass pretty good and is decent at half court defense.

Ok you got me he wasn't a whiner. But he put himself ahead of the team numerous times. Like when he got frustrated and threw the elbow, that's the obvious example. Then there were the numerous times he abandoned the game plan in favor of throwing up crazy shots because he thought he could just shoot us into the game. Then there were the dunks. He knew he couldn't dunk he just wanted to look cool. Then of course there's that time he LEFT THE FUCKING TEAM and left us without of one of the better pure shooters in the league in favor of playing basketball in Spain. Fuck Terrance Oglesby.

Tanner has great ball control, is a good passer, and is a pretty good defender. I was hoping he'd get the opportunity to spend more time on the floor, and this is certainly his chance to prove how much of an asset he can be.

I thinkTanner Smith is the real deal, and he, Stitt and Young can handle things I believe. I think we'll be successful this year.

This is certainly a loss to our ability to score rapidly, but Oglesby shot some idiot shots too and wasn't a good defender. Hopefully this will allow us to go inside more and not get 3- point crazy which happened alot when he was on the court.

Honestly, though, I wish him the best. I was kind of hoping OP would help him out with his attitude. He was getting better at looking for the inside man, and he did a lot for us in a short amount of time.

I guess Tanner Smith will be playing more.
