TAJH BOYD COMING TO CLEMSON

***UPDATE*** You can view a video of Boyd’s announcement, highlighted by a news guy with one of the corniest fake TV vocal inflections I’ve ever heard, at this link.

Clemson recruit Tajh Boyd has made his decision and has committed to come to Clemson.  This really shocked us given our current QBs in front of him.  Of course, he is injured and needs to have torn ligaments in one of his knees fixed.  This is great news for all Clemson fans and vastly improves our recruiting class after the Bowden fall out.  Good luck to the young man and guys, please, don’t put the weight of the world on him, even though we know you will.

And Tigernet goes wild…

Did the DSOT guy shit himself, pop wood, or stick hungry ferrets and a purple cabbage head in his underdraws?
Tight pants over a 17 year old dude…ewwww.

Willy Korn is a peice of shit. Tajh Boyd is the greatest QB ever to have knuckle children in the whole world. If Korn and Boyd got in a fight, Boyd would take his gimp leg and beat them shit out of him for letting Grisham complete a pass before he did. ARRRGGGGG (enter more dumb shit here)

Tajh Boyd=new 2nd coming of Jesus.

    Korn is now an also-ran.

    @5 Tard-tastic!

Seriously, I won’t believe it until I see them pitures! Pitures!

Yeah, poor EKR is probably in denial right now. Soon, he’ll start rationalizing things. A conspiracy, mayhap. Any chance EKR will become EBR????

Quick everybody, let’s go troll the Ohio State and Oregon boards and rub their noses in it! Be sure to turn off any and all spell-checkers! FTW!

@9 I’m laughing my ass off. I won’t be sure this kid is coming until he walks on campus. Still this shows Dabo and staff are still hot recruiters.

  11. 11edboNo Gravatar on Jan 27, 2009 at 6:06 pm:

@7- This is a very unextreme day. Very, very unextreme fi you know what I mean.
@10- I agree on both points.

I really don’t envy Chili and Willy Mac today. There is so much material for DSOTs on TardNet that it will be very difficult sorting through it all. Some type of methodology must be set up beforehand to make the process easier….good luck, fellas.

  13. 13Judge Jeff DavisNo Gravatar on Jan 27, 2009 at 7:14 pm:

Who needs Korn, anyway. We have Kyle Parker and Tahj Boyd. He can take his weak ass shoulders and hit the road.

“He can take his weak ass shoulders and hit the road.”

LOL. Word to the wise, don’t let EKR see this. You might wanna start trolling for a week or two. You know, lay low off the radar and such.

@15: “points” for the ISRTMD reference. Let me find you in the forum and “shoot that shit to the sky” on your rep points.

Do you think Parker will ever actually play a down of football?
DSOTer “OK, Tajh, time to size you for your uniform. Let’s measure those arms…OK. Waist, alright. Time to measure the inseam, that sweet unshorn Virginia inseam. Lawdy I’m catching the vapors.”

  20. 20Love TruncheonNo Gravatar on Jan 27, 2009 at 11:29 pm:

But I like this gravatar…what is it by the way? It looks like Uncle Phil from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
And seriously, if Parker has another season like he did last year, I think he’ll eschew football altogether, go with baseball fulltime, and leave after his junior year.

  21. 21MogritsNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 12:54 am:

@20: 10-4. I think he would be an incredible QB but the kid would be crazy to turn down MLB. Let’s just see how this baseball season plays out and move him over to the baseball scholarship side already.

Leggett is smart….very smart. But he is not God.

  22. 22mahhrblzisfroznNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 2:39 am:

This is how I imagined it went down:

    Dabo: We’ve abandoned Willy Korn.
Chili: sssshhh…. You’re gonna have to repeat that.
    Dabo: We’ve abandoned Willy Korn.
Chili: Well where’d you lose him? He ain’t a set of fucking car keys, is he? And it’s not as if he’s incon-fucking-spicuous, now is it?
    Dabo: We’re not backing out.
Chili: You bet your bollocks to a barndance you’re not backin out.
    #13: We’re changing the quaterback.
Chili: Oh, fuck me! Your lady friend got a voice? …and who might you be changin him to, sweethart?
Dabo: You won’t know him, but he’s mustard.
Chili: Mustard? I don’t care if he’s Peyton I’m hard Unitas. You can’t change quarterbacks.
    Dabo: Look, you’ve still got a dual-threat.
Chili: No, I lose all EKR instant touchdown plays. You can’t change quarterbacks at the last minute; so no, I don’t have my dual-threat, do I? You fucking pricks! You’re on thin fucking ice my pedigree chums and I shall be under it when it breaks. Now fuck off.

  23. 23LawtonfunkNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 8:20 am:

Hey, Chili, Willy Korn isn’t a ‘has been.’

    He’s a ‘never was.’

  24. 24ChiliNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 8:36 am:

No shit he’s a never was. He redshirted a year and then played injured, you’re starting to sound like a fucking Tardnetter with your absurd judgment calls on this kid. If he finishes out his Clemson career and never does much, then we can rag on him, but to do it after his first real season is fucking ignorant.

  25. 25Dwight_Clark87No Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 8:47 am:

@22 who let the British person drink and post? “Bollocks”? We say “balls” or maybe “nuts” in the USA.

@24 Yeah, the Boyd thing is kind of exciting, but Korn is the man until…something happens other than a High School kid saying he will come to Clemson. Tardnet continues to not disappoint. Hee-larious.

  26. 26DanielNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 9:08 am:

I haven’t checked Tigernet – are they seriously calling Korn a “has been” or “never was”??? That’s absolutely absurd if they are serious. Admittedly he’s going to have a tough time meeting some of the more lofty expectations, but he has a very long way to go to be labeled a “has been” or “never was”.

  27. 27edboNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 9:59 am:

@26- Pretty much. I didn’t see those exact phrases used( didn’t waste alot of time on tnet) but there were many second coming of Jesus type posts going on. From what I saw alot of tardnetters were tossing Korn out like yesterdays fish. Pretty much par for that course.

  28. 28LawtonfunkNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 10:08 am:

@24, I’m just trying to get a rise out of you, man. The anti-Korn hype is almost as absurd as our #9 preseason hype-built rank last year.

What would we do without the EKR, anyway?

  29. 29ChiliNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 10:10 am:

    Consider me risen. Rised? Rose?

  30. 30LawtonfunkNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 10:10 am:

@26, I sure hope not. My comment was ‘tongue and cheek’ – and meant to pick on Chili. I can’t believe you took me seriously, Chili. Who do think I am, Tom?

  31. 31ChiliNo Gravatar on Jan 28, 2009 at 10:19 am:

I can’t tell what with what inflection you’re saying something on the internet. You need to add the sarcasm tag, obviously.
