Agreed. Vic is solid.
Scratch my first prediction… Vic will be the DC at K-State.
No clue on our new DC… I would hire Levon… or a warewolf w/ chainsaws…

@10 – my apologies… I am a Clemson Graduate.
“Werewolfs with Chainsaw Dicks” is a popular cultural reference to an overly aggressive style of defense. Something that Vic did not condone – which is notable given the 4-star stud secondary and our undersized, but speedy linebackers.
Fuck the Zone. Crank-up the Poulan.

This makes me uneasy to a certain extent. Vic wasn’t so good he’s irreplaceable, but he was good enough that I’m not sure he’ll be easily replaceable.
Then again, I won’t necessarily miss watching his scheme; it wasn’t my cup of tea.

Tom made a comment about having fans on this site.
I just want to clear something up. If you had fans, they’d read your blog. And look, I’m not being unfair here, if our readers want to check out your blog, they can see it at http://www.itsmyblog.com. Judging by the absolutely zero comments anywhere on there, I can only draw the conclusion that there’s not a lot of interest over there in your opinion.
You feel that your opinion is important and unique and you force it upon any site out there that talks about Clemson. And I don’t mean the usual comments like we welcome here. We like our readers to express their opinion and tell us when they think we’re wrong or to generally give their own take on things, but you have a problem. There’s no logical reason for you to be trying to wrestle control of our comments section by commenting every other comment to have the last word. People aren’t commenting here to see what you have to say about a subject unless you do what you like to do and start arguments that inevitably end with you refusing to budge like you did the other day.
I’m sure you’re going to react to this in the way you’ve conditioned yourself to react: by saying that your opinion was too realistic for Clemson homers, or that we’re trying to unfairly quash perfectly reasonable free speech. Tom the martyr. We’re not asking you not to comment here, we’re just asking you to… take it down a notch.

@ 25/26
Seriously. You aren’t even in the stratosphere of “importance” when it comes to even the Clemson blog intraweb. I’ve got a blog that I could pimp here, but I don’t. Know why? It’s because I like this place, and I feel that most of the time it says exactly what I’m thinking, and I don’t feel the need to push my incessant ramblings down people’s throats.
Take a break or some shit. I’m not a heavy hitter or anything like that, but my shit gets read when I write it. By running around here practically begging for attention in the “look at me! Look at me!” kind of way, you bug the hell out of everybody and you make it hard to read the usually funny comments sections of this blog. You also look pathetic.

For some reason I one time patronized Tom’s blog to comment on the clearly inaccurate statement that Tommy Bowden was wrong for replacing Willie Simmons with the original extreme Clemson quarterback, Charlie FourandO.
He said, “Just look at how bad Whitehurst was when he went in… the problem wasn’t Willie, it was a shitty team as a whole because of a shitty coach.”
I responded that Charlie hit the first 11 passes of his career, then had two of the best games for a Clemson QB ever in his first two starts.
The guy lambasted me for being a “statistician”, and said that those things mean nothing because Whitehurst lost to Georgia 30-0 to start his sophomore year. Awesome.
Sorry for throwing fuel on the fire, but I come to this blog to get away from people like Tigernet Tom.
