Then again Spence's ridiculous two-point stance the past few years could have possibly subverted him from being productive. But he's a junior I believe, so he's got another year of eligibility. So it's great he has one more shot. Maybe next year, with proper coaching, he'll reflect the comparable performance level of his top lineman recruit status when he signed on in 2005. But he and the staff knew it was only a matter of time when it gave out. I mean scar tissue can't really hold up for that long under those conditions. Personally, I think we should of let it be and performed surgery back when it first happened, because I don't see big time NFL prospects knocking on the door for next year.
