Clemson collapses as we thought they might. I don’t see how the season can be redeemed. I don’t mean that in the “man I hope Clemson loses every game so they fire Bowden” way, more in the “God I hope we can rebound but I know we won’t” way. Either way, fire everyone but Dabo Swinney and Billy Napier (after the season of course). Or fire everyone, fuck, a firesale would be better than the alternative. We’re going to have to grin and bear it with this staff until after signing day, then fire them and hope to lure someone else. Either way, people who are of the opinion that Bowden will somehow miraculously become a great coach some day need to realize that they are defending a completely untenable position. Could things be worse - abso-lutely. But they could be so much better with a competent coach at the helm and some decent playcalling on offense. Defense busted their ass today, all necessary props to them, but the 2nd half offensive playcalling was just a bitch mentality. GTFO MY SCHOOL.
Oh, and you better believe I have some DSOT screencaps ready to drag out.
At least Georgia lost. I think they preferred the rape when it was Sherman bearing down on them.

just watched harper act as if the game was no big deal , this team needs a coach that is tough and aggressive that the players would sell their souls for . this team has no pride or competitve spirit , the players should be proud to pull on that helmet everyweek and if they dont play like that put their ass on the bench and put in the young guys that want to play , but that will never happen under bowden.

Same ole’ Clemson. We haven’t played with fire, spirit, heart in the 15 years I’ve been watching them. I wonder how Spiller/Davis’ chances in the NFL will fare now. Regrets much? We do this every bowl game as well… meh.

I think Bowden’s head should be stuck on a pike outside of Death Valley. (along with Bobby Robinson’s, IMO)
Seriously, I want him fired now. I’d rather hold onto the recruits we have at the moment by keeping him til the end of the season, because theres a chance they’ll stay committed and wont look elsewhere the longer we keep them, and the new staff will have a chance to keep em….but damn if I was a HS player and wasnt a lifelong Clemson fan I’d be looking somewhere else already.
I thought in the preseason that worst-case scenario would be Harper screws up like Proctor did, gets thrown under the bus, and Korn ends up starting by season’s end and Bowden would say we’re building for the future….looks like we’re definitely headed in that direction.

Has Harper been blamed for the turnovers yet? I saw one highlight where we threw yet another dumbass screen play that the UMD players read perfectly, swatted, and recovered the fumble. Did Bowden blame Harper for that?

Dont know if Bowden blamed him or not but that wasnt a his fault at all. We were rolling at that point, we had yet to have a bad offensive play but the DE got a great read on the play, made an atlhletic play and knocked it down. Kelly then thought it was incomplete and quit as the Maryland players fell on the ball. I have to say Im a lil angry about the ball spot on the QB sneak but what can u do….I pray to God that Bowden dosnt use Cullen as a Scape Goat though, regardless of this performance behing this O-line I still believe he will be a great NFL QB…his stock is definantly dropping though!

Couldn’t sleep worth a damn last night. Maybe this shit means too much to me, I don’t know but I couldn’t help but think as I was sitting here fuming over this inexplicable loss that TB was probably sleeping like a baby. I’d like to see a coaching change but I wonder if (a)we have men with the stones enough to do it and (b)what kind of douchebag would they bring in as a replacement. I don’t trust them.

TDP fucked us and the alum and donors with the real pull–not us–have allowed this tragic shit to keep happening. It was a tough loss, but it’s not the bottom of the barrel for this season. I actually thought we would win the Maryland game and then drop the Wake game once a few people start to look forward to it, and, of course, since it will be televised! What better way to represent Clemson than to lose on a national stage and hearing Bob Davie -or whatever semi-functional brain-stem, former coach ESPN will have announcing that night- go on and on about how bad Clemson is now. With the loss against Maryland, I think Clemson will probably beat Wake. Remember: it’s all ups and downs with a shitty head coach. Absolutely no…what’s the word…ah, yes, “coaching.”
I don’t think the UGA/ Bama game is analogous to the Clemson/ Bama game. Georgia never gave up and neither did their fans. Can’t say the same for Clemson or their gutless worm of a head coach. Bama won’t make the SEC Championship game. Their luck will run out and soon.

After the loss to Maryland Saturday (a team who only beat Delaware by a touchdown) I have finally given up on Clemson with tammy faggot pissface as our coach. We will NEVER win even an ACC Championship with him here. It is done. We will lose to Wake Forest. We will lose to GT. We will lose to FSU. We will even lose to the Gamecocks. This is a replica of the time when we finished the season strong at 9-4 and everyone thought we were gonna be the shit next season. We finished 6-6. Shit happens in patterns and Clemson has always been shit. Fuck Bowden. We won’t make the ACCCG. We will play in the “worthless bowl” like we do every goddamn year.

Earlier in the week, I told the Gnomes I thought we were headed for a 5 game losing streak. They asked why and I said I just had that ‘Tommy West’ feeling, but I think that’s wrong. With West, you knew we sucked - we didn’t have the talent. With Bowden/Spence, we waste more potential than a girl giving Chuck Norris head.

I saw a Bama fan on a message board comparing Clemson fan’s to Bama fans a couple of years ago under Shula. Actually getting to the point where they root for the other team just to get rid of a chump coach. I’m trying really hard not to be that kind of fan, but running out of reasons.
